Latest update: According to the official Discord server and via Reddit, the patch notes should be released at 9 am BST time.

Earlier this week on the official Tekken Twitter channel it was announced that Tekken 7 will be getting a free update. Since then we have also learned that the Tekken 7 patch notes will be released tomorrow, 17th August.

Tekken 7 Patch Notes

The Tekken 7 patch notes will be released on the 17th of August, so far we know that this update will include ‘Battle Balance Adjustments’ as mentioned in the official tweet from Tekken which you can see below. Historically Bandai Namco has been known to release the patch notes ahead of schedule, so look out for the update very soon.
Since the patch notes are due tomorrow, we will update this page as soon as the new release is dropped.
When Did Tekken 7 Release?
Tekken 7 was originally released in February 2015, meaning the game is seven years old now.

As the Steam page for the game states:

Towards the end of the video linked above it appears to be teased that they’ll be talking about a new Tekken game extremely soon, with a photo-realistic Kazuya shown just after footage from the original Tekken.
