The Odyssey Ark is almost here and Samsung are preparing a tasty deal for eager fans of the 55-inch display
The Samsung Odyssey Ark is finally here and available for reservation directly from Samsung.
Samsung’s latest 55-inch Odyssey Ark monitor is almost ready for release and eager fans of the brand can reserve the new high-performance monitor today.
To sweeten the deal, Samsung is offering up to $300 off the display when reserving it – starting the 16th of August 2022.
The 55-inch behemoth will come equipped with all the latest display features, including mini LED backlight technology, a 1000R curved display, and a 4K screen resolution.
Better yet, the new-look 55-inch display will also feature complete stand functionality – with this massive display offering landscape and portrait functionality.
Additional features include a 1ms GTG response time, quick 165Hz refresh rate, and G-Sync and FreeSync support – making the Odyssey Ark great for both gaming and productivity.

Reserve Samsung Odyssey Ark and save $300
As you can imagine, the new Odyssey Ark won’t be cheap – retailing for an eye-watering $3,499, according to the official Samsung reservation page.
Like most recent Samsung monitor launches, the South Korean brand will again feature an enticing discount to get buyers to pre order the monitor.
This time we’re looking at a tasty $300 off the retail price of the 55-inch Ark – that’s just shy of 10% for those who’d prefer the savings as a percentile.
Granted, the monitor is still incredibly expensive – however, when you compare it to the first 32-inch Mini LED monitors, it actually displays pretty good value for money.

Is the Samsung Odyssey Ark worth buying?
The new 55-inch monitor is easily one of the most eye-catching arrivals in 2022 – but is it worth buying?
Well, that all depends on what you prioritize from a monitor.
If you’re looking for a unique big-screen gaming experience, the Samsung Odyssey Ark could be exactly what you’re looking for. It features a stunning 1000R curve, mini LED backlight technology, and a 165Hz refresh rate that makes it excellent for gaming.
That said, the 55-inch scale of the Ark makes it incredibly difficult to house on a conventional desk and its price will almost certainly dissuade many potential buyers.
