The long-awaited sequel to Blizzard’s Overwatch, Overwatch 2 is almost here.

While the beta is currently rolling out to the public it’s an asked topic to what will be the official system requirements for the game once it’s officially launched.

Here we’ll see what requirements may be revealed by Blizzard and what may be the recommended requirements for the sequel title due to release in October.

Overwatch Minimum System Requirements

The minimum requirements for Overwatch were:

• Windows® Vista/7/8/10/11 (64-bit)

• Intel® Core™ i3 1 .0 GHz processor (or equivalent AMD® CPU)

• NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 660 graphics card or AMD Radeon™ HD 7950

• Broadband Internet connection

• Blizzard recommends that your computer have at least 25 GB of free space to install Overwatch

These requirements are not very demanding, and even a mid-range computer from a few years ago should be able to run the game without any problems.

Overwatch Recommended Requirements

The recommended requirements for Overwatch were:

• Windows Vista/7/8/10/11 (64-bit)

• Intel Core i51.0 GHz processor (or equivalent AMD CPU)

• Broadband Internet connection

Blizzard recommends that your computer have at least 25 GB of free space to install Overwatch

As you can see, the recommended requirements are not much different from the minimum requirements.

Overwatch 2 System Requirements

As for Overwatch 2, a good indication for what the requirements will be is by looking at the beta requirements from public release.

Closer to the launch date of Overwatch 2, expected to be in October, is when it is expected to see specific requirements for the game.

• Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 600 series, AMD Radeon™ HD 7000 series  
• Memory: 6 GB RAM  
• Storage: 50 GB available hard drive space  

Potential Overwatch 2 Recommended System Requirements

• Operating system: Windows® 10 64-bit (latest Service Pack)  
• Processor: Intel® Core™ i7 or AMD Ryzen™ 5  
• Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 or AMD R9 380  
• Memory: 8 GB RAM  
• Storage: 50 GB available hard drive space
