Benchtop magnets corral fasteners and hardware

I’m always dropping screws and small hardware off my bench, losing them in a pile of shavings on the floor. Other times they drop into the dog holes. A couple of rare-earth magnets are the answer. I drilled two shallow holes in my bench so the magnets would end up slightly below flush, and held them in with a couple drops of epoxy. Then I drew a rectangle around the magnets to make them easier to find on a messy benchtop, where they do a wonderful job keeping small parts and screws in a handy cluster.
